"Skip is used to working tirelessly to address the needs of all people"

As a 20-year member of our church, I can say unequivocally that Skip Fink is deeply committed to the fabric of Folly’s community and family.

I have seen Skip roll up his sleeves on countless occasions to ensure that Folly Beach remains a community of people who care for "the Edge", not just live here. His work to balance the needs of our small growing island church within the constraints of our nonprofit budget is always thoughtful, thorough, and transparent. Working alongside Skip as we built homes with families in rural western Honduras showed me first-hand that he is used to working tirelessly to address the needs of all people - by connecting with them personally, and by ensuring resources are available to enhance communities of all shapes and sizes.

What sets Skip apart and will make him an indispensable member of City Council are his hands-on commitment, his genuine and active engagement with Folly's residents, and his practical approach to finding solutions. 

I am grateful to have Skip as a friend, honored to work with and learn from him in leadership, and hopeful that the community will soon have that same opportunity.
