My vision for Folly Beach is much like a lighthouse—a steadfast beacon guiding Folly through shifting tides. Our city, rich in character and history, is navigating inevitable winds of change. Like a lighthouse standing resilient, illuminating the way forward, I am committed to guiding Folly forward with a clear focus: protecting the unique essence and identity that make our community special, while thoughtfully embracing the changes needed for a sustainable and vibrant future.

A vital component in preserving the character of Folly Beach is the consistent and effective enforcement of existing ordinances. This approach promotes responsible development, ensures businesses operate within established guidelines, and upholds a quality of life that aligns with our community’s core values.
Supporting Seniors' Initiatives

Our Folly seniors are the heritage and foundation of our community, many of which have been here for decades! I will continue to seek to identify seniors' needs and collaborate with our residents, Council colleagues, and City staff to create and support programs that help address seniors' needs.
Protecting the Environment

Folly Beach's natural beauty is one of its greatest assets. I’ve actively supported proactive measures to combat beach erosion, manage the impact of sea-level rise, and address flooding, pollution, and septic issues. Environmental stewardship will continue to be a personal priority to ensure that we preserve our coastline and natural habitats for future generations.
Affordable Long-Term Housing for Renters and City Workers

Addressing the housing needs of our workforce and long-term renters is critical. I will continue working to seek practical, affordable housing solutions ensuring those who make our community thrive can continue to live here and call it home.
